National CEO Annual Conference Programs
2009 CEO Conference Highlights
The 2009 National CEO Conference brought together more than 1,600 participants from 132 universities around the country. Over 70 outstanding speakers presented in this two and a half day event. They presented topics, such as how to create a one-page business plan, raising your first round of capital and tips for Internet marketing. Special sessions were also offered specifically for entrepreneurship in the arts, technology and for faculty.
Speakers included: Peter Thomas of LifePilot, John Hughes of Coleman Foundation, Mike Michalowicz of Obsidian Launch LLC and author of The Toliet Paper Entrepreneur, Michael VanGrinsven of Northwestern Mutual, and Al Grossman of Con-Tech Lighting. During the conference Alfredo Molina, the founder of The Molina Group, was inducted into the CEO Hall of Fame. He shared stories of success and inspiration with the audience.
Students also had the opportunity to compete in Best Chapter Awards, an Elevator Pitch competition, and Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.
