Collegiate Cup

What is the collegiate cup?

The Collegiate Cup is a college tour of Venture Valley featuring one-day stops at top colleges throughout the country (your campus could be one!) The focus is on encouraging students to socialize with each other and play Venture Valley, learning entrepreneurial tactics along the way. Players can compete for a share of $6,000 in prizes simply by playing Venture Valley and climbing-up the campus leaderboard.

What is Venture Valley?

Venture Valley is a completely free mobile and PC video game produced by the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship. It is a fast-paced, fun tournament style game that teaches users the ins-and-outs of building businesses in a challenging and engaging format. Click here to see a tournament in action. 

Why should my campus host a collegiate cup?

Participating universities/colleges will be featured in a collective press release announcing the collegiate cup visits along the tour and each individual campus Public Information/Communications office will be paired with the Venture Valley PI team to coordinate press and other announcements. Specific university branding materials will also be provided to participating campuses.

What do we need to do if we host a Collegiate Cup?
  • Note: there is no cost to hosting a Venture Valley Collegiate Cup
  • Provide the Venture Valley team with a high-traffic location on campus, perhaps adjacent to a food venue or in your student union.
  • Provide Venture Valley with 3 8 ft. tables from your facilities team and two large screens with projectors from your media services department. Incurred rental fees will be covered by Venture Valley.
  • Marketing support (materials provided) across campus through your CEO Chapter, College of Business, Student Government, Registered Student Organization Office, and additional respective departments for across campus engagement.

1st place: $2,000
2nd place: $1,000
3rd place: $500
4th – 8th place: $100
