The eight annual Midwest Entrepreneurship Conference 2020 is a two day conference designed for college students, young professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn from highly successful young entrepreneurs and a few seasoned professionals. There will be several guest speakers such as Gerry O'Brion VP of Marketing for Coors Light, Quiznos and Red Robin and David Simnick CEO and co-founder of SoapBox Soaps.
At this regional conference, a pitch competition is held with a $1,000 prize pool. All applicants pitch on Friday after the Startup Career Fair. Four contestants will be selected to pitch their idea in front of well-known Venture Capitalists from the Midwest during MWEC. Following their pitch, each contestant will have 7 minutes of Q&A from the VC’s. Applications for the pitch competition, regional awards categories and tickets can be found on the MWEC website.
