The ninth annual Midwest Entrepreneurship Conference 2020 is a two day conference designed for college students, young professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs and a few seasoned professionals. There will be several guest speakers such as Genevieve Thiers Founder of SitterCity.com, Erik Bird Co-Founder Eat Fit Go, Jess Ekstrom Founder of Headband for Hope, Andrew Kozlovski Founder of Brainz Power, and Maggie Kane Founder and Executive Director of A Place at the Table.

At this regional conference, a pitch competition is held with a $1,000 prize pool. All applicants pitch on Friday after the Startup Career Fair.  Four contestants will be selected to pitch their idea in front of well-known Venture Capitalists from the Midwest during MWEC. Following their pitch, each contestant will have 7 minutes of Q&A from the VC’s. Applications for the pitch competition, regional awards categories and tickets can be found on the MWEC website.
